This time of year, December is one of the busiest that we have mainly due to the Holiday Season as well as with the difficult situation in our project areas because of the Coronavirus pandemic. Despite this, we continue to deliver much-needed services to our communities, thanks a lot to our supporters from the Philippines as well as internationally. We are grateful for the help which ensures our continuing support to our beneficiaries with our signature water, agroforestry, nutrition and development projects. Meet Cora Sayre, a 2018 Disaster Feedback Fellow of the Disaster Recovery Network at GlobalGiving. T he country Cora Sayre calls home is one of the most vulnerable to climate change in the world. She has seen the increasing intensity of typhoons over the last decade—and made it her life’s mission to help rural farming communities in the Philippines become more resilient to devastating disasters and volatile economic conditions.
